How Voting works?
Earn Votes: Every purchase you make gives you at least one vote. Bigger purchases earn more votes.
Monthly Updates: We’ll let you know how many votes you’ve earned each month.
Vote for Projects: Use your votes to support projects you care about.
Project Focus: We’re looking to support smaller, local organizations and initiatives like cleaning up the environment or renovating schools.
Why Smaller Projects?
We believe that smaller, well-organized groups can use funds more effectively to make a real difference in their communities.
We aim to support smaller organizations that are already doing good work. These might be research projects or local initiatives like cleaning up the environment or renovating schools. Our goal is to help these smaller groups make a bigger impact.
Voting and Distribution
The projects with the most votes will receive the most funding. We’ll distribute funds based on the number of votes each project receives. Projects with fewer votes might not get any funding in a given period.
Voting period: At the end of 6 months period the voting button appears active on our website allowing you to vote for your favourite project. Information about the voting launch will be available on our website and social networks, and we will also inform you personally via the email you used to register for For Better Purpose.
How to Vote for a New Charity?
New projects for voting can currently only be proposed by filling out the form (below) using an email address which is associated with your purchase. We are however working on a more streamlined process for adding new projects. We believe that together step by step we can make a difference.
